Technical explanation
A No. 8 gear cutter matching the rack module is positioned with a fixture.
After each tooth, the table moves one pitch; n=(π·m)/P, where m is module and P is the table-screw lead.
This is a conventional method; actual production also depends on equipment, datums and inspection.
