INDUSTRIES & SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS

Intralogistics and telescopic handling

Telescopic forks and rack-driven axes for stacker cranes, shuttles, pallet and carton handling.

ENGINEERING CONTEXT

Specific applications, components and selection

Selection considers load weight, extension, closed length, installation space and allowable deflection.

Single/twin arm, single/double deep, dual-motor and clamp structures match different carriers and cycles.

Interfaces, positioning, safety and cycle life are coordinated with lift and travel axes.

RACK & PINION IN APPLICATION

Application schematic

Stacker-crane load-carriage lift

The rack is fixed to the stacker-crane mast. A motor and gearbox on the load carriage drive the pinion, lifting the pallet and telescopic fork. Load weight, lift speed, positioning, safety braking and cycle life determine the design.
